Greg holds a B.S. in Accounting from Utah State University’s Huntsman School of
Business and an MBA from the Marriott School of Management at BYU, where he also
served as an adjunct professor of entrepreneurial finance for eight years. An avid endurance athlete, Greg has competed in 10 full-distance Ironman Triathlons, including two world championships in Kona, Hawaii, and St. George, Utah. He is passionate about family time, exploring Utah’s mountains, and golf.

Greg Peterson is the Managing Director of Bolder Capital (formerly GH Peterson), a private equity firm known for a disciplined approach to driving value creation across diverse industries. With over 25 years of experience in direct investment, syndication, acquisition, growth equity, and portfolio management, Greg has successfully led and exited investments in sectors such as IT, internet, software, business services, and manufacturing.
Before co-founding Boldera Capital, Greg served as Head of Corporate Development at WorkFront, Inc., where he directed the company; A strategy, including the acquisition of ProofHQ, with a global footprint across the U.K., Warsaw, and Dallas. Greg currently serves on the boards of Maxway Trucking and Old Mill Building Products, contributing strategic insight and governance expertise.
